Autobiography - Final Draft, due Monday, December 3, 2018

Previously, you wrote a 15 sentence autobiography about yourself. You will receive these 15 sentences back tomorrow, 11/26.

Now you will make a final copy of your rough draft. If you had all 15 sentences in your rough draft, then great! All you have to do is rewrite and type up your 15 sentences and follow the project guidelines below. If you did not meet the 15 sentence requirement, be sure to do so in the final copy of your autobiography.

This will be due on Monday, December 3, 2018 and will be worth a quiz grade. For every day that this is late, you will receive a 10 point deduction.

The main components of this project are:
1. Write 15 sentences in Spanish about yourself,
2. Make sure your 15 sentences are TYPED,
3. Include a picture or drawing of yourself,
4. Make your project creative and beautiful,
5. Read the project guidelines and rubric (below),
6. Do not use Google translate,
7. Hand in your project on time,
8. Spell check your project!!
9. Please do not number your sentences or include any questions. You may just write your sentences in paragraph form.
10. Be sure to include accents when necessary. If you do not know how to make accent marks, you may print your project and write them in with a pencil.

Please do not wait until the last minute to complete/print your project. I am giving you one week  to type, spell-check, and print a fully corrected rough draft. You may either go to the public library, the library at school, or see me and I will help (in advance, not the same day). Do not email me your project.

There will be a ten-point deduction for every day that this assignment is late. Your project is late if you: left it at home, left it in your locker, left it in another class, etc.

Please put effort into your project and make it beautiful and creative. This will help you achieve a high grade. Be sure to read the Autobiography Rubric to ensure that you have met all of the requirements (below).

Please click each picture below to enlarge. You may also email me if you have any questions about this project.

An example of the beginning of my autobiography. It is typed, includes a picture, etc. Be sure to have 15 sentences and make your project look beautiful (create a border, use fun stickers, etc.). This is LaGuardia!

15 Sentence Autobiography - Rough Draft Due on Tuesday, November 20

15 Sentence Autobiography
Rough Draft due on Tuesday, November 20

Write a 15 sentence autobiography. The following questions serve as prompts. You may answer these questions or write answers to other questions. Answering these questions and using your Do Nows will make this task very easy.

Please be sure to number your sentences and remember....

I was very nice when it came to the movie worksheet. Many of you used Google Translate. This time, no ifs ands or buts ...you will receive a 0. You will not be able to do a makeup and I will not correct it. You will be on your own for the rough draft, which is worth a quiz grade. As I always say, use wordreference.com. Using a dictionary is different than using a translation device. You should ONLY be using the present tense. We know nothing else. If you start using another tense with accent marks (for the past, for example) it is a red flag that you used a translation device).

1.   ¿Cómo te llamas?
2.   ¿Cuántos años tienes?
3.   ¿De dónde eres?
4.   ¿Qué estudias en LaGuardia?
5.   ¿Qué clases tienes en LaGuardia?
6.   ¿Cuál es tu materia preferida?
7.   ¿Qué te gusta hacer?
8.   ¿Tienes muchos amigos en LaGuardia?
9.   ¿Estudias mucho o poco?
10.       ¿Con quién te gusta estudiar?
11.       ¿Dónde te gusta estudiar?
12.       ¿Quién es tu profesor preferido? ¿Por qué?
13.       ¿Te gusta ver televisión? ¿Cuál es tu programa preferido?
